Losberger De Boer
The Farnborough International Airshow is the second-largest aerospace and defence trade event on the planet, surpassed only by the Paris Air Show. Held biennially in Hampshire, it attracts the world’s most significant aerospace companies, governments, and defence organisations across a five-day programme of flying displays, trade exhibitions, and high-level business meetings. In 2024, the event was described as the most in-demand in its 75-year history, with total deals announced across the trade days estimated at £13 billion.
This is not an ordinary event. It is a global industry convening — where billion-pound contracts are negotiated, where national aviation strategies are discussed, and where the world’s leading aerospace brands make their most important business decisions. The quality of the environment in which those conversations take place matters enormously.
Losberger De Boer has been building at the Farnborough International Airshow since 1996 — a partnership spanning nearly three decades. What they deliver here is, by their own description, “the largest exhibition we build on a consistent basis globally.”
For the 2024 show, Losberger De Boer created over 52,000 m² of premium exhibition and hospitality space using ten different structure types including their Emperor, Alu Hall, Premier, and Anova ranges. This included four major exhibition halls and over a kilometre of business chalets where the world’s leading aerospace companies could conduct private meetings and entertain VIP clients.
The build takes six months on site. A dedicated team is present 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the entire build and dismantle period. The planning for each show begins almost immediately after the previous one ends — such is the scale of the logistical challenge. Our brief was to capture the full story of what that commitment looks like: the people, the precision, and the pressure of delivering the world’s most important aerospace event infrastructure on time, every time.
We produced a hero case study film that communicates the full scale of the Losberger De Boer operation at Farnborough. This is arguably the most technically ambitious brief in their portfolio — and the film reflects that. We focused on three core themes: the longevity of the partnership with Farnborough International, the engineering scale of what’s built, and the team dedication required to deliver it. The film is designed to speak directly to procurement teams, event directors, and C-suite decision-makers at organisations planning large-scale temporary infrastructure.
The social content package was built to extend the film’s reach across LinkedIn — Losberger De Boer’s primary B2B channel — with cuts designed to perform in-feed and drive traffic back to the full film.
The Farnborough case study stands as one of the most powerful proof points in the Losberger De Boer content library. The combination of scale, heritage, and technical complexity tells a story that no competitor can easily match — and the film makes that story tangible, credible, and compelling for any prospective client evaluating temporary structure partners at the highest level of the industry.
“Losberger De Boer have been a key integral partner in delivering this year’s highly successful Farnborough International Airshow. They deliver a wide range of structures to the show and our exhibitors — the team are highly committed and pulled together to deliver over 50,000 m² of structures on time and to a high standard.”
